Christa Heibel joins PACE as Interim Executive Director
It’s a new year, and the start of a new decade – there is no better time than now to share the new direction that the Professional Association for Customer Engagement (PACE) is headed! PACE is excited to announce the addition of Christa Heibel to the PACE Team, in an Interim Executive Director role, effective immediately. Heibel has been a PACE member for several years and has served on the Board of Directors as Vice Chair and Marketing Chair for the past year. Heibel is a customer experience and contact center veteran with 26+ years of experience in successful development, implementation, and management of numerous contact center operations, sales and marketing programs, and customer experience initiatives across the world.
Heibel will be taking a lead role in association oversight, strategy, management and messaging. This change aligns with the exciting expansion of current PACE offerings and increasing number of member touchpoints including the regional events, the launch of peer-based Councils, the CX Leadership Summit, and other new and exciting initiatives.

PACE plays a critical role in advocacy issues for our members in regulatory and government affairs, but PACE also offers multi-dimensional value, expertise and knowledge that is rare for non-profit organizations that exist today. In addition to housing nationally recognized compliance experts, the PACE membership base also contains Customer Experience and Contact Center experts. This provides unique opportunities for networking, advocacy, compliance accreditation, educational opportunities and business building that is happening today as our members navigate the ever-evolving world of customer driven experience improvements. Heibel will work with the PACE team to expand and leverage its membership database while positioning PACE as the #1 resource for Contact Center, Customer Experience, and Compliance industry professionals and organizations.
Heibel will work with current PACE CEO, Stuart Discount, to achieve greater efficiencies and growth in membership, event attendance and sponsorships, Government Affairs initiatives, and membership footprint and participation levels.
